I got into Inuit Throat Singing when I was writing about Arctic cultures when I was studying anthropology back in the days. It can be really beautiful music and I don’t mean that in a sarcastic YLNT way. Watching the Mongolian movie, Mongol reminded me that some of these mashups are online these days so I’ve been listening to some of them tonight.
